NTT Data Opens Four AI-Powered Cyber Defence Centres in India
NTT Data opens four AI-powered cyber defence centres in India to strengthen advanced threat detection, response, and enterprise cybersecurity operations.
Global technology services giant NTT Data has announced the launch of four new AI-driven Cyber Defence Centres in India. The centres, located in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Noida, and Mumbai, are designed to tackle the rising tide of sophisticated cyber threats by combining artificial intelligence with human expertise.
According to NTT Data, these facilities represent a shift from traditional centralised security operations to a distributed, hyper-automated model. Leveraging AI agents, the centres will autonomously triage, analyse, and hunt potential incidents, reducing investigation times by up to 60 per cent. This acceleration allows security teams to contain threats earlier in the kill chain, minimising damage and improving resilience. By automating repetitive, high-volume tasks, analysts can focus on higher-value work such as digital forensics, containment, and recovery.
The initiative is part of NTT Data’s broader strategy to modernise cybersecurity for the AI era, where attackers increasingly deploy machine learning and automation to breach defences. The company emphasised that its new centres will not only defend against AI-enabled threats but also help clients advance their edge-to-cloud digital transformation journeys securely.
The centres will also collaborate with regional Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERTs), National Cyber Security Centres (NCSCs), and government agencies, ensuring compliance with local data privacy and AI regulations. This partnership approach is expected to strengthen India’s national cybersecurity ecosystem while providing global clients with localised expertise.
NTT Data’s Indian expansion is part of a larger rollout, with two additional centres scheduled to open in Birmingham (UK) in December 2025 and Dallas (USA) in January 2026. Together, these facilities will extend the company’s cybersecurity presence across five continents, supported by more than 40 delivery centres and security operations hubs in over 50 countries.
